This last Saturday, FRC 3218 attended the Sumner-Bonney Lake School District STEM fair, putting our 2020 competition robot on display. At our table we had a robot name suggestion box where all members of the community could recommend a name for our unique looking robot. Young kids came to learn about how the bot functions and many played catch with the bot while we demonstrated the launching mechanism. With over 1,000 people attending this event each year, our team presents to our community exactly who we are and the amazing robot we have produced.
Another outreach event that we hold is our upcoming annual Auctibition fundraiser. This is a night where families, friends, and sponsors can join the Panther Robotics team for a semi-formal dinner, dessert auction, and robot reveal. Join us on March 14th at Bonney Lake High School for a lovely dinner catered by Mama Stortini's and an up-close viewing of the 2019-2020 robot. Every member of the team has put countless hours into perfecting this bot and preparing it for our upcoming competitions. The Auctibition will be a night to be remembered.
